The trial against Francesco Antonio Morello, an Arkeon master, is being resumed in Milan.
With the hearing which will be held at the Law Court in Milan on September 20, 2010 , the judges will hear the first witnesses for the prosecution, thus getting to the heart of the matter, which sees F.A. Morello charged with the crime of sexual abuse.
F.A. Morello, a Reiki master initiated by Vito Carlo Moccia and one of the Arkeon founders since 2000, is accused of having sexually abused some of his followers, unduly influenced by his title and his role within the Arkeon group.
He would have deceived them into believing that the only way to overcome their disorders - originating in presumed sexual abuse suffered in their childhood - was to have sexual intercourse with him, as "individual therapy".
The prosecutor maintains that the 64-year-old master exerted an undue influence on his "victims" using "the false authority deriving from his qualification of 'master' ".
F.A. Morello is also one of the 11 Arkeon members already awaiting trial at the Law Court in Bari, accused of criminal association, fraud, illegal professional practice, child abuse, assault, slander.
