Così Andrea Vianello, conduttore della trasmissione televisiva
Mi Manda RaiTre , ha presentato il metodo Arkeon messo in pratica dai ‘’maestri’’ dell’associazione Il sentiero sacro (“The Sacred Path”).
Per circa un’ora,
nel corso della puntata andata in onda il 13 ottobre ,si è parlato delle insolite attività del gruppo spirituale Arkeon, che conta diecimila seguaci in Italia. Un’ora densa di testimonianze e discussioni, con la presenza del leader Vito Carlo Moccia, ideatore di Arkeon, spalleggiato da due “maestri” e da un prete, Don Angelo De Simone, che Ruffolo called "atypical priest."

L’avvocato Ruffolo tornando sulla questione della responsabilità dell’organizzazione e degli organizzatori ha detto che se gli affiliati hanno incontrato un maestro è forse perché hanno visto qualcuno in televisione che li ha attratti. “Non siamo mai andati in televisione”, ha risposto Gabriella Noè, forse dimenticando che diversi video promozionali sono stati prodotti e divulgati dall’organizzazione stessa, e che uno di questi contiene un’intervista di Padre Raniero Cantalamessa a Vito Carlo Moccia, trasmessa da RaiUno nel corso della trasmissione “A sua immagine”. E proprio per comprendere se Arkeon è davvero vicina al mondo cattolico, Vianello ha chiesto spiegazioni a Don Angelo De Simone. “Sono stupito che lei sia qui…”, ha commentato il conduttore. Don Angelo ha provato a difendere Arkeon definendosi “animatore spirituale” del gruppo e dichiarando di poterlo fare senza alcuna autorizzazione ecclesiale.
Non ha detto, dunque, che il movimento Arkeon è riconosciuto dalla Chiesa cattolica. L’accanimento dimostrato da Don Angelo non ha però convinto il pubblico presente, che più volte ha dato segni di dissenso. Ruffolo, riprendendo un esempio infelice fatto da Don Angelo sulle responsabilità personali dei preti pedofili, ha assicurato che poiché il prete opera in una struttura, anche la struttura paga i danni, ricordando che negli Stati Uniti la Chiesa cattolica deve pagare miliardi di dollari di risarcimento per cause di questo tipo.
